Unity Exchange Network Launches New Erasmus+ Project: Building Intercultural Bridges!
We are excitedly launching the application process for our new Erasmus+ Youth Exchange (KA152-YOU) project, designed to strengthen Europe’s multicultural structure and break down prejudices among young people!

Why are we undertaking this project?
Today, increasing cultural polarization, xenophobia, and disinformation spread through social media across Europe are weakening the bonds of empathy and tolerance among young people. Research and a needs analysis conducted with our partners (with the participation of 126 young people) show that 73.8% of young people believe they lack sufficient knowledge about other cultures.
To address this need, our Netherlands-based group aims to create a safe and inclusive learning environment where young people can directly experience different cultures, rather than relying solely on theoretical knowledge.
Project Partners and Participant Profile
In this meaningful project, planned to be hosted by the Netherlands, we are coming together with strong partners from all over Europe:
France
Italy
Romania
Turkey
Within the scope of our project, we will bring together a total of 35 young people from 5 different countries. We prioritize social inclusion, especially by giving priority to the participation of young people with limited opportunities in economic, geographical or cultural terms.
Key Objectives of Our Project
Intercultural Communication: To develop teamwork skills through mixed country groups and workshops.
Combating Prejudice: To question stereotypes and misinformation through “Living Library” and simulation studies.
Social Inclusion: To encourage the active participation of disadvantaged young people by providing mentorship and quota support.
Cultural Awareness: To experience different lifestyles firsthand through dance, culinary culture and local community interactions.
Dissemination and Sustainability: Spreading learning outcomes to a wider audience through local events and social media.
What Will We Do?
Throughout the project, we will implement a rich program using non-formal learning methods; from traditional dance workshops to interfaith dialogue sessions, from food culture events to historical discussions.
As Unity Exchange Network, we look forward to fostering understanding beyond borders and enabling young people to internalize the philosophy of “unity in diversity.”
